Privacy Policy

What we collect

• From Google, when you sign in: your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier. We never receive your Google password.
• From you, in your profile: mobile number, school, district, block, panchayat, subject, class range, cadre, gender (optional) and your transfer preferences.
• From your use of the portal: which profiles you unlocked, requests you sent, and your membership and order history.

We do not collect or store card numbers, UPI IDs or bank credentials. Those go directly to Razorpay.

Who can see what

• Public, once you publish: your name, school, district, block, panchayat, subject, class range, cadre and transfer preferences.
• Not public: your phone number and email address. These are released only to a signed-in teacher who has published their own profile and has spent a contact view on you. Anonymous visitors never receive them.
• Never shared: we do not sell, rent or trade your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Who we share data with

• Google — for sign-in only.
• Razorpay — your name, email and mobile number are passed to prefill the payment form.
• Microsoft Clarity — we use Clarity for heatmaps and session replay so we can see where the portal confuses people. It records how you move through pages. Phone numbers are masked before a recording leaves your browser, and we do not send Clarity your name or email address.
• Legal — if required by a court or law enforcement in India.

Your choices

• Hide your listing at any time from your profile page — it disappears from search immediately.
• Delete your profile from the same page. This removes your profile and preferences permanently.
• Ask for your data or full account deletion through the contact form. We act within 30 days.

Payment and order records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, even after a profile is deleted.

Security

Sessions use signed, expiring tokens. Contact details are withheld by the server itself rather than hidden in the browser, so they are not present in the page for anyone who has not earned access. Payment signatures are verified server-side before any membership is granted.
